Tayden Haile was born in the small town of Gainesville in Florida. He attended college there but decided he need something more. He wanted to travel and to do bigger things in the world. So he joined the US Navy in 1998. He served during don’t ask don’t tell and in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Once integrated back into society Tayden began to answer the call in a different way. He joined various veteran organization searching for comrade and connection. He felt the need to gain further education and decided to earn his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, an Associate is Science in Registered Nursing and is now currently working on his Masters of Divinity in seminary school.
His passion is serving the people and helping people heal from moral injury and church hurt, with a focus on preventing burnout in ministry leadership. While serving the community through ministry he felt a need to learn and become a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. He founded a organization for transgender men where they could feel safe and find brotherhood. He joined the pride board in 2018 and became the Jacksonville Black Pride president. He is also on the Transgender care team board for the Mayo Clinic providing wrap around care for trans men and women.
When he isn’t working to further the mission and improve lives for all. He enjoys spending time with his wife and seven adopted children and their dogs. He is now the current Director of Partnerships and Collaborations.
